“The Sun Paintings represent the constant struggle to remain optimistic. Through the best and worst of times. The works draw upon the symbol and familiar iconography of the sun as a motif of presence and illumination.
My intention is for these paintings to be a grounding source for others. Paintings that are lived with, rather than consumed. Something that was already there, waiting to be unveiled.
Paintings to live with.”
